About

The Alama Heritage Foundation was established in 2016 in honor of sisters and Master Kumu Hula Puanani Alama Tom and Leilani Alama.  

 

The mission of the foundation is to perpetuate the culture and traditions of the Alama hula lineage. The foundation supports Halau Hula Lani Ola by sponsoring special community events, cultural events, and scholarships for HHLO haumana.

Merrie Monarch 2022

We are so honored and excited to be on our journey to the 2022 Merrie Monarch Festival this April in Hilo, Hawaii. We thank everyone who is supporting us along the way.

Fundraiser: Sushi Making Class

We will be hosting a sushi making class on February 19, 2022.​ 

 

Using fresh ingredients, you will learn how to create maki rolls, hand rolls, and nigiri under the direction of a sushi chef. Ticketing and pricing details will be released shortly!
